This research was conducted collaboratively with Lori Khatchadourian (Cornell University), Adam T. Smith (Cornell University) and Ian Lindsay (Purdue University). It was part of CHW‘s (Caucasus Heritage Watch) historical research project on the fate of Armenian heritage in the Nakchivan region of Azerbaijan. With this investigation, we present the full account of the near-total erasure of the Armenian heritage in the Nakhchivan region in the period between 1991 and 2010.
